EcoTrip Now Adds CO2 Remarks Automatically at Ticket Issuance

We're pleased to announce the biggest update to EcoTrip since its launch: carbon emission remarks can now be added to the PNR automatically at the moment a ticket is issued in Sabre — with no agent action required.

From one click to zero clicks

EcoTrip has always made carbon reporting easy, calculating estimated CO2 emissions for air, hotel, and car rental segments directly inside the Sabre workflow. Until now, applying those figures to the PNR was a step the consultant triggered.

With this update, that step disappears. As soon as a ticket is issued, EcoTrip calculates the emissions for the itinerary and writes the CO2 remarks into the PNR automatically — in the exact format your back-office system expects. Every ticketed booking carries its carbon data from the moment it exists.

Why this matters

Corporate clients increasingly expect emissions data on every invoice, itinerary, and management report — not just on the bookings someone remembered to tag. Manual steps mean gaps, and gaps mean hours of reconciliation at reporting time.
